One Down Dog Yoga Studio

Jessica Rosen founded One Down Dog in 2014 here in Silverlake. With a passion for yoga and helping others, she started with one studio and expanded to another location close by.

“We initially started with a few classes in a studio where we rented space, and a year later opened our flagship location down the street on Sunset.” One Down Dog was founded on bringing together community and providing fun, freeing, unpretentious yoga to the east side of LA.

“Our staff and teachers KNOW the students, and we coin ourselves as ‘The studio where everybody knows your name.’ We are very community driven here. What’s great about ODD is that there is a class for everyone – we offer flow, our signature sweat class (think loud music and cardio bursts), chill, restorative, family classes, pre-natal, baby & me, and a lot more. We now have an additional studio in Eagle Rock and are in negotiations on a third space.”

One Down Dog Yoga Studio is a great place to practice yoga with a variety of classes and family like atmosphere. “We definitely participate in events outside of the studio; we just had a residency at The Line Hotel, and often work with Bender Flow on events at Sound Nightclub and The Standard Hotel.”
