Join Seane through an uplifting and spiritually-centered vinyasa flow yoga class, for all levels, that speaks to the beauty and mystery of Spirit within and beyond.  Through the integration of asana, proper breathing techniques and conscious intention, learn how to experience the creative and powerful practice of Vinyasa Flow as a devotional expression of life -beyond the body. Together, we will use our body, breath, and unified intentions to contribute to individual as well as Collective healing.

Oregon-native Nahko, born a mix of Apache, Puerto Rican, and Filipino discovered the unifying power of music and entered his life as a healing remedy, when he took up the piano at age 6.  Whether solo or with the dynamic group of musical troubadours known as “Medicine For the People,” Nahko delivers a soulful dose of curative vibrations that moves audiences to dance, laugh, and cry.  His ‘spirited redemption music’ lays bear the scars of cultural wounds, environmental wrongs, and social injustices.  His lyrics bear the burden of heavy messages, but the load is lightened by agile melodies and driving rhythms that coerce all who bear witness into spirited, purifying, movement.  His humor disarms, and his lyrical stories open listeners to the power of “real Talk Music.”  Sometimes exuberant, sometimes savage, but always transformational, Nahko makes the movement move.

Off the Mat, Into the World™ (OTM) is a non-profit organization dedicated to bridging yoga and activism. Founded in 2007, OTM uses the tools of yoga, meditation, and self-inquiry to inspire leaders to create conscious, sustainable change. We define activism as an act of standing for solidarity, equality, justice, and freedom for all.

OTM graduates do work ranging from offering yoga to survivors of domestic violence, people in recovery, vulnerable youth and incarcerated people to organizing and educating people around issues of social justice, food justice, and international humanitarian work. Our leaders embody the idea of taking yoga “off the mat.”

Yoga is an incredible tool.  The practice can be a launching pad and a vital tool that informs our leadership. In order to support leaders regardless of their ability to pay, OTM relies on donations to make their work accessible to everyone.

“Yoga is for everybody. We are committed to supporting and igniting a diversity of voices in our training programs, and we want to see leaders from all walks of life sharing their gifts and inspiring others to make the world a better place” ~ OTM Founders
